JH Mothers Day Giveback

Let’s Love on These Moms

This Mother’s Day, we asked our community to nominate moms who are carrying heavy loads — and over 300 of you showed up with powerful stories of strength, sacrifice, and resilience.

We selected four incredible moms to honor in a tangible way: by helping meet their real needs. Each of them shared an Amazon wishlist, and we’re inviting you to join us in showing up with love — one item at a time.

Pick a mom. Send some love. Make her feel seen.

Etta

Etta is a single mom to her beautiful daughter. Having served in full-time ministry for many years, Etta finds herself on the other side of marriage working multiple jobs to make ends meet, not always with success. Living in a new town away from family, Etta’s support system is small - let us remind her that even when she sometimes feels it, she is never alone!

Lisa

As a single woman, Lisa left behind her life in the US to start an organization halfway around the world that fights against human trafficking. Since being there the past 15 years, as a single woman, Lisa not only battles for hundreds of children daily, she has adopted five of her own. Lisa spends her life serving those around her - let us all rally to show she is also deserving of being served!

Erin

Erin works hard to meet the demands of parenting a son with disabilities, whether it is emotionally, physically or financially. Between medications, doctor appointments and therapy, there is rarely anything left for Erin to provide even the basic necessities for living - let us help Erin know that her sacrifices are not in vain and that good things are coming her way!

Donna

Having raised her children on a teacher’s salary, Donna still finds herself in the classroom, teaching the next generation with the same passion she started with 30 years ago. As with so many other teachers, Donna’s service doesn’t end with her students - from community volunteer work to being the backbone of her extended family, Donna is always pouring out what she has even when it means there is nothing left for her at the end of the day - let us show her no matter what stage of parenting she finds herself, we see and we honor her sacrifices and hard work!

“When women show up for each other, especially in the hard seasons, we become the very hope we all need.”
